According to the NY Jets injury report It looks like (S) Marcus Maye, (CB) Buster Skrine and (LB) Kevin Pierre-Louis were all limited at practice and are TBD for this Sundays match-up against the Bears. (C) Spencer Long, (WR’s) Robby Anderson and Quincy Enunwa as well as (CB) Trumaine Johnson all did not practice today – with Todd Bowles later reiterating that Quincy will not play this Sunday making it two weeks in a row for him. I do not envision Johnson and Long playing this weekend making this the third straight game for Trumaine Johnson and Spencer Longs first missed game of the year. I do anticipate Robby Anderson playing this Sunday even though he was held from practice today. If I had to guess Trumaine Johnson should be back next week against the Dolphins making this week kind of like a “get back in shape” week, as for Spencer Long we’ll have to wait and see how serious his lower leg injury is. The Jets are definitely a banged up team this year especially after losing Bilal Powell for the season this week – it’s time for players at certain positions (Trenton Cannon and Elijah McGuire) to step up and fill some shoes while guys get healthy.
