Jets Thursday Injury Report: “Dolphins Week”

According to the New York Jets there were some notable names at today’s practice who were back on a limited basis, did not practice at all or were a full participant. It looks as if (C) Spencer Long will be ready to come back this week after missing last weeks games against the game Bears as he was dealing with a finger and ankle issue. As long as his finger is healed up and it won’t effect his snaps out of the shotgun then I am happy for his return. Cornerback Trumaine Johnson who has missed the last several weeks due to a quad injury returned to practice last week and participated today on a limited basis, I’m becoming more and more confident we will be seeing Johnson soon – hopefully this week. As for receivers Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson they both were in helmets and pads but did not practice, Anderson wasn’t at practice at all yesterday while Enunwa was in there with full gear. Their status for Sunday’s game is definitely in question, I am holding out hope that at least one of these guys can come back and help this offense find a rhythm.  The Jets are a banged up football team right now coming into two very winnable games before their bye week. If the Jets can simultaneously get healthy and win two games in a row before the bye I will have the most confidence in this team then I’ve had at any point so far this season.
